The game seems to run worse now than it did in beta. You also seem to have disabled voicelines for all killers so you can't mess around with people. The new killers just aren't fun to play as. The survivors get way too many strong items to use, What they had in beta was more than enough. There are physics glitches that cause the props to sling across the map now so that chases just immediately end. The turn into a prop and double jump across the map is now worse than it was in beta. There is a leveling system, but it doesn't seem to do anything? Main menu is completely bare except for a customization option showing you locked skins for every character. It does seem incredibly barebones at the moment. Controls feel pretty solid, though jumping as props can be weird sometimes.Īfter playing a few matches as both survivors and killer, for me, this game is a perfect little party game to pick up and go / play with friends. Running away from killers as human and prop is a good mix of decision making in a given moment. I like the prop mechanic to this type of game. Having never played DBD, my opinion is skewed to the context of this game only.
